It’s the Fourth of July back home in the states but I’m on vacation on in beautiful Punta Mita, Mexico. I’ve traded fireworks for a fiesta this year. I’m staying at the very exclusive Imanta resort, which is an amazeballs. It’s intimate and small it’s like having a private island! Or at least a private beach. I have yet to see another guest (although I’ve been told there are two other couples currently here). Miguel, the charming General Manager told me “if you need anything there are 80 staff members waiting to dote on you.” Wow! 80 staff members for 6 guests is a wildly impressive staff-to-guest ratio.

While I’m technically here on a beach vacation, I couldn’t resist using the Time Lapse App on my iPhone 4S to make a little time lapse mobile photography video. I wanted to show you just how beautiful, relaxing, and not crowded the beach here at Imanta is.
Imanta also has excellent service, and great margaritas and guacamole. The food is outstanding and fresh.
