Honored to Be Nominated as One of the USA Today and 10Best Readers’ Choice: Best Travel Photography Bloggers

Yesterday I was honored (and surprised ) to learn I have been nominated by USA Today and 10Best Readers” Choice as one of the Best Travel Photo Bloggers. It was unexpected and I’m very touched by the nomination. I love sharing my travel photos with my blog audience, and it’s always nice to learn that the readers appreciate it too.

Voting began August 11th. You can vote each day through September 8th!

Here’s the link to vote for me:

Winners will be announced on September 10th. Here are some of my favorite images I’ve featured on the blog in recent months.

Sunrise at Surwal Lake Rajasthan, India

I shot this image during my glamping trip to Rajasthan at  Aman-I-Khas. I asked my guide, Bobby Bhargawa, to take me to see the sunrise. Surwal Lake delivered this stunning sunrise.

Long Legs in Big Sky Country

It never hurts to have a beautiful and statuesque brunette as a BFF. In March we went glamping at The Ranch at Rock Creek. It was my friend Zan’s first trip to Montana. She’s a comedian by trade, but a great travel companion (and model).

Sunset scull on the Arno

I got this shot walking over a bridge in Florence with my Fuji X20. The light was perfect.

Chillaxing at Sugar Beach

I went to St. Lucia for the first time in May. The beach loungers and umbrellas on Sugar Beach were postcard perfect.

Sunset picnic in Florence

I love this image– it’s probably my favorite of the summer. I shot it walking to dinner in Florence, Italy. It seemed like a movie moment. Sort of the dream of what your first trip to Italy should be. I was so glad these two were having it.

Double Decker Bus and Big Ben, London

I shot this photo after getting off the tube in London. I like shooting at night and this image just feels so quintessentially “London.”
